I joined the Marine Corps, and found a husband!
We had two wonderful children (a boy & a girl). We lived in Pleasant Valley for a while, then I moved with my husband and children to his home state of Missouri.
After four years there, we got divorced, and I brought the children home to Pleasant Valley with me.
I got a job with IBM, where I worked for 24 years, until July, 2002 when I retired!
That has started a another new phase of my life.
After visiting my daughter and grandchildren in Missouri, I traveled up to North Dakota, and through the Great Northwest to California, and back through Nevada, Colorado, and Kansas.
When I got back to Pleasant Valley I took some courses at Dutchess Community College, among them, Forensic Photography.
I attended a wonderful photography workshop at Callaway Gardens, GA.
It was presented by the Rocky Mountain School of Photography.
Some of the pictures that I have for viewing and for sale on this website are from that my travels around the USA, and from my classes at Callaway Gardens, GA.
I graduated from the New York State Institute of Photography.
I enjoyed the Rocky Mountain School of Photography workshop in Georgia so much, and learned so much, that I attended the workshop at the Smokey Mountain National Park, in Tennessee.
I have been successful at local farmers markets during the summer, and when I was living in Pleasant Valley I had cards for sale at a local gift shop, and a local flower shop.
I don't have any pictures on display currently.
