April Sang at District Choir

Saturday I went about 40 miles north of here to Moberly, MO to see and hear April sing with the Northeast Missouri District Choir in the All-District Choral Festival. It was quite an honor for her to be chosen from all of the Rock Bridge High Choir members to represent the school at this big event.

This picture is a little blurry, I know, but it was the best I could do.

My Scary Family

I didn’t get very many trick-or-treater’s last night, but this scary family did show up! They aren’t only scary, that black fairy looks pretty mean.

Halloween at Brian’s school

Of course I showed up as Winnie the Pooh! I enjoyed seeing all of the children in their costumes. Brian’s mask go kind of hot and hard to eat through.

Last night I volunteered as an usher and joined about 40,000 other enthusiastic Missourians to watch and listen to Barack Obama on the campus of MU.

October tomatoes

I just picked two tomatoes from Jane, and there are still several more almost ready. The leaves aren’t at all as healthy as Tereasa or Louisa, as you can see from this picture, but I have had many more tomatoes.

I know it looks like two skinny plants but it is only one with scoliosis.

Motorcycle race day

Saturday I went to Topeka, KS to meet my nephew Gary and his wife Diane to watch motorcycle races. It was nice to see Gary and diane and the race was quite an experience.
